Update on the Bird Pendant by Hluthvik
Update on the Bird Pendant
This piece is made out of walnut (body) and plum wood (wings and tail).
I somehow wasn't happy with the head of it, so I altered it with this inlayed eye out of whitethorn wood. I definetly am more satisfied with this, although it looks a little bit bulgy eyed. But I think it suits the pendant quite well. It looks much more like a native American totem animal, somehow.
About 5cm wide and 4,5cm long.

First Mask by Hluthvik
First Mask
Something I wanted to do for a really long time and finally found the heart to do it. The mask is made out clay and modelled on a copy of my face, so it's quite a personal one ;) The straps are made of leather. Because I was afraid that the material isn't able to handle much tension, the straps are fixed and are not adjustable. Got to find a better method for that.
And I got to buy more colors...

Left: whitethorn wood, about 3cm long and 2,5cm wide.

Candlething by Hluthvik
Candlething
Case for teacandles. The silhouettes are made ot walnut wood, the plates beneath are beech wood. The walnut pieces are cuts from parquet planks, with the multiplex and glued pieces this is basically a recycled work.
About 13cm long and 9cm wide. Maximum heigth about 13,5cm

Maybe some already noticed, but me and my girlfriend made a new account for sharing our work we make for Reenacting.

So if you like to see photos of historical items and such, check this out: :iconlirhluthvik:

I won't be posting any more photos of artisan crafts (unless they are modern inspired) here, but will upload photographies of nature and other stuff.

Teaser ( ;) )

Haha, thanks!
Unfortunately I am not really putting effort into photographing stuff, I am very sorry. But as soon as I get the motivation to do so again, I'll upload again!
